I’m tired. Too tired to do my homework, but apparently not too tired to create this post. I’m also very full. Food-coma full. We had a taco night with this peanut butter tart for dessert and now I’m waddling.
And unfortunately, even food and friends were not enough to get rid of that awful Sunday feeling. This week will involve school, work, buying parking permits, going to the DMV, and other unfortunate things. It’s the beginning of the first entire week of Not Summer.
And along with trying to get enough sleep and actually doing homework, I may need to also lay off the sweets. The past few weeks have been made entirely of sugar. Don’t worry though. I can only go so long without baking but perhaps I’ll veer more towards nutritional with the next one.
Anyways, enjoy this tart! It was really REALLY way too yummy. Ask my friends. They’re waddling too. But if you’re looking for an easy recipe (no oven needed) that is simple and delicious and simply delicious, this is the one!
You can find the recipe for this decadent peanut buttery tart from Joy the Baker.
RECIPE: No-Bake Peanut Butter Tart
– I only made a couple small changes to my tart from the recipe . I added a little bit of sugar to my whipped cream to sweeten it up. I also drizzled some honey on top of the peanut butter filling and sprinkled sliced almonds on the top.
